Our body cannot process these chemicals and therefore they burden the liver, kidneys and lymphatic system. You can find out what these substances are and what to look out for when buying food supplements and food here.

In this episode we look at 3 more mistakes and how not to do them.

Mistake No. 3: Cheap vegetable oils

At first glance, all oils look the same. But there’s a big difference between a cheap bottle of oil from the supermarket shelf and a quality cold-pressed oil. Cheap refined oils are often industrially processed at high temperatures that destroy most of the valuable nutrients, antioxidants, and natural enzymes. The result is a fat that shares nothing more than its name with the original plant.

When heated, such oil quickly exceeds its smoke point and it starts to burn quickly. The smoke point is the temperature at which the oil begins to decompose and produce substances that can be toxic or carcinogenic to the body. In addition, burnt fat burdens the liver, promotes inflammatory processes in the body and thus reduces the body's ability to regenerate.

If we want to cook healthily, it pays off know the appropriate use of different oils:

Butter is not suitable for frying. It burns easily at higher temperatures and produces harmful substances. It can be used for quick sautéing at lower temperatures, but for frying it is better to use clarified butter (ghee) or other more suitable fats. We can use lard or rapeseed oil, which has a higher smoke point and a more balanced ratio of omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids.

Sunflower oil It is also not suitable for frying. It easily burns and decomposes at high temperatures. This creates harmful substances that are dangerous to health and can be carcinogenic.

Quality oil tends to be more expensive. But when we realize that we only use a few tablespoons a day, it is one of the cheapest investments in our health. Moreover, we will also notice the difference in taste.

Mistake No. 4: Suspiciously cheap raw materials with no clear origin

Everything looks beautiful on the packaging, we are attracted by pictures of herbs, fruits or cereals and the inscription "natural", "bio”, and “natural” promises the highest possible quality. More important than a pretty package is that where the raw materials actually come from. Because the origin often determines whether a product helps the body or, on the contrary, burdens it.

Cheap products are often made from plants grown in industrial areas where intensive chemical fertilization, pesticides or heavy metals are used. In the case of dietary supplements, we often encounter raw materials of unknown origin, without laboratory tests and without information about the processing method. Such products may have low quality active ingredients and at the same time contain residues of substances that have no place in the body.

On the contrary, a quality manufacturer is not afraid to be transparent. They state the exact and, most importantly, understandable composition of the product.

It is therefore a good idea to ask yourself the following questions when making a purchase:

If we cannot answer these questions, or we have to search for answers in a complicated way, then the product will probably not benefit the body. Not everything is as healthy and organic as the product packaging makes it seem at first glance.

Mistake No. 5: Attractive marketing instead of real quality

Today, packaging and a well-chosen slogan can sell almost anything. Signs like "natural", "bio", "premium quality" or "superfood" have become a common part of marketing. But behind the attractive design is often a product that is far from real quality. But it reliably creates the illusion that we are buying something healthy.

What really decides, is the composition, the origin of the ingredients and the honesty of the manufacturer. If the brand is transparent, it has no need to hide behind exaggerated promises. And it lets the quality of its product speak for itself. That is why it pays to rely less on marketing and more on your own intuition and experience when choosing.

And finally, here are 5 simple tips on how to choose wisely and healthily:

True quality is not determined by glossy packaging and marketing, but by what how we feel after the productWhen we give our body pure ingredients without unnecessary additives, it will reward us with better digestion, stronger immunity, and an overall sense of vitality, all of which will be reflected in our quality and length of life.

You don't need to have a pantry full of "superfoods." You just need to start choosing products consciously, reading labels carefully, choosing honest producers, and choosing quality over quantity.

And that's what the philosophy of what we do is based on. Every product is there to give the body what it needs. the best of nature. Without fillers and unnecessary chemicals, without compromises, with respect for how the human body works. Because health is not about trends. It is about balance, which begins in every capsule we consciously choose.
